ROBO medical digestive endoscopic surgery robot completed all clinical trials

2023-09-01 02:30:03 本站

Recently, ROBO Medical's digestive endoscopic surgery robot (EndoFaster), which has complete independent intellectual property rights, completed all enrollment in a prospective, multi-center, parallel controlled clinical trial for registration in China.

EndoFaster digestive endoscopic surgery robot system is one of the world's leading endoscopic surgery robots, and it is also the world's first digestive endoscopic surgery auxiliary operating system to complete human registered clinical trials.

The conclusion of this clinical trial enrollment marks an important step in ROBO Medical's process to obtain the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) registration certificate. Through this clinical trial, the safety and clinical effect of ROBO Medical's EndoFaster digestive endoscopic surgery robot system have been fully verified and recognized, laying a solid foundation for its further development and application.

ROBO Medical digestive endoscopic surgery assisted operating system adopts an innovative micro-continuum flexible robotic arm design, which brings a new breakthrough for digestive endoscopic surgery. The traction and lifting of the diseased tissue in endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) can be achieved by the movement of the robotic arm, so that the surgical operation is closer to the doctor's intuition, and thus the operation time can be shortened and the probability of intraoperative complications can be reduced.

The diameter of the flexible arm of the system can be controlled at about 3mm, and the precise master-slave control of 4 degrees of freedom can be achieved in the limited space of the digestive tract. This technological innovation greatly improves the safety of ESD, reduces the difficulty of learning the operation, and provides a surgical robot solution for the popularization of the operation.

The institutions participating in this clinical trial are: Shandong University Qilu Hospital, Shanghai Changhai Hospital, Binzhou Medical College Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, Zibo Central Hospital.
