From November 25th to 26th, the 2017 World Medical Robotics Conference was held in Shenzhen, China. Focusing on the theme of "the Belt and Road? Medical Robots from Scientific Research to Clinical Application", the conference has more than 20 academicians, professors and doctors from China, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Italy and other global medical robot fields, discussing the status, development and future of medical robots from scientific research exploration, project progress, clinical needs, clinical applications and other multi-level and multi angle. The conference was held by Ha, Director of the Robotics Laboratory at the Lausanne Polytechnic University (EPFL) in Switzerland and a member of the Swiss Academy of Technical Sciences (SATW)
