On July 28th, under the guidance of the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology and organized by the Science and Technology Bureau of Lixia District, Jinan City, the high-level talent and technological achievements promotion conference for Lixia District was grandly held at the Qilu Science and Technology Finance Building in Jinan.
At the meeting, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and ROBO Medical held a signing ceremony for the collaborative research and development of a minimally invasive surgical robot system for digestive endoscopy.
Since 2017, ROBO Medical has collaborated with Qilu Hospital of Shandong University to develop a digestive tract surgical robot, and has undertaken the "Key Technology and System of Minimally Invasive Surgery Robot for Digestive Endoscopy" project, which is a key research and development plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Both parties are committed to effectively applying surgical robot technology to the treatment of digestive tract diseases.
The digestive tract surgical robot equipment jointly developed by both parties has recently reached the end of clinical practice. This signing ceremony marks a solid step forward for Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and ROBO Medical in the fields of production, academia, research and application of digestive tract surgical robots, laying a milestone for both parties to further leverage their complementary advantages and share resources.
